Objectives

The major project aim is to build up a vocational training system in archaeological heritage based upon e-learning resources will be achieved in the following steps:
(a) production of six e-learning modules enlarging existing library of e-learning modules
(b) production of new Learning Objects and case studies to expand existing e-learning modules
(c) construction of template of user-friendly database for e-learning resources in the form of LOs
(d) entering all available e-learning data in the form of LOs originating from both previous and current project into this database
(e) elaboration of a coherent guidelines/methodology of the course production for different target groups using this database making possible to arrange and re-arrange LOs in an infinite way
(f) elaboration of new training curricula of diverse content and duration and addressed to varied target groups (3-4 months long training, blended learning, etc.) and production of e-learning modules out of resources from the database comprising didactic content of training curricula
(g) conducting a test training among different groups verifying this model of e-learning modules construction and completed on the basis of carefully designed training curricula
(h) evaluation of usefulness and efficiency of different types of e-learning courses among different target groups

Expanded library of e-learning modules (objectives a & b) comprises the very didactic content in the field of archaeological heritage directed towards different target groups, in particular museum and local administration staff and engineering sector. This content corresponds to their different needs considering a specific character of the sector, cultural context and training needs. Construction of database of e-learning resources (objectives c, d & e) will facilitate their easy management as well as flexible construction of new e-learning modules and training curricula. The proposed solutions will then be verified in training process among different target groups, as specified in objectives e, f & g. A final system can be implemented as a complex vocational training model for archaeological heritage. Training curricula building up in this way, will facilitate quality and attractiveness of vocational training thanks to precise reference to needs, competencies and limitations of different target groups.
